New topic this week the brief was Blue. I chose to do some infrared photography, I had messed about with this a few years ago, without much success. My old camera couldnt handle the infrared filter without getting huge hot spots in the middle of the image, enter new camera, still not the greatest one for infrared, but no hot spots but really long exposures. All the following images were between 10sec and 30seconds long. Really hard on a windy day. Traditionally infrared is black and white, so I have done a few, but one of the ongoing trends is faux blue infrared. I love that you can make it look like it is snowing in the middle of summer with dark dramatic skies at lunchtime. Enjoy
